Equity built and prepared the Azure environment, coordinating with Expacare’s application provider and SQL specialist to support a successful migration.
Security was strengthened through multi-factor authentication for server access and Azure firewall protection.
Expacare now has a more resilient, secure and up-to-date infrastructure platform, with reduced reliance on legacy technology and a stronger foundation for day-to-day operations.
Users have seen a clear improvement in performance and reliability. Downtime has been minimised, support tickets have reduced and employees are no longer losing up to 30 minutes per day because of the previous server issues.
The move has also helped address the compliance risk created by Windows Server 2016 end of support, while MFA and Azure firewall protection have improved overall security.
