According to UK Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds, it would be “naive” to assume that the risk of Iranian-backed cyber activity won’t increase in response to these developments. He noted that Iranian cyber-attacks on UK critical infrastructure are already a weekly occurrence – a chilling reminder that the threat is not hypothetical, but evolving.

In the wake of the US strikes, Iranian officials have vowed to consider “all options” in retaliation.
